The food here was amazing!! I got the quinoa salad w chicken and my friend got a pizza and both were amazing!! The sangria is also great, tastes like it did in Spain. Also our server (did not catch her name, she was a younger girl with short black hair) was very nice and told us some more about the neighbourhood. For our first trip to LA this was one of my favourite restaurants that we chose!!! I'll be recommending it to anyone I know who is also visiting LA!

We were here for a friend's birthday gathering. Good food, friendly service. A nice restaurant for a small gathering.

An Amazingly Exceptional Experience. This place is lovely. Outdoor seating was perfect. Tracy, our server, was a joy. An absolute joy! The food was unbelievable. We started with the Frito Miso - and that's when my life changed. Toum! Oh My God! I found a recipe and I'm going to make this. I could eat it by the spoonful. I had the Chicken Kabob and my friend had the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. Both were excellent. The humus was fluffy and creamy. The fries were crispy and covered in garlic. I don't live in LA. When I come back, I will be eating here again. Great location for an event at The Greek.

Valentine's Day 2024: After the spa, we wanted to eat Valentine's Day dinner close by. Called The Desert Rose and surprisingly they had plenty of openings. Facility: The ambiance was great. Romantic lighting outside on the patio. There is a smoking section for Hookah. Tables were clean and bathrooms were clean. Parking: they have valet but we parked on the street. Service: Excellent. Our server and everyone we met eyes with was very welcoming. Where things went left: Food: So we weren't told the special "3-course Valentine's Day special was $75pp!!! Had we known that, we surely would have gone elsewhere. That's what we get for not asking. Now we know why they had space available. The menu was pre-selected. Corn chowder (4/5), cheese rolls (5/5), beef kabob (4/5), Spinach Ravioli (3/5), cheesecake (4/5), chocolate cake (4/5). I would come back again for a non pre-selected menu.

Amazing ambience. The service was good, food even better! Amazing hospitality as well. We got the filet steak skewer & chicken skewer plates with the rose martini ? I believe it was called ... then we were recommended the Christian special for our hookah flavors, BEST!! Thanks Desert Rose

My partner introduced me to this local neighborhood establishment when we met, and it consistently delivers. The food is always high quality, and while billed as Mediterranean, seems to have an Italian flair as well with some great pasta dishes. They have an artisanal vodka behind the bar for excellent martinis. The service is always impeccable, with friendly, attentive staff. We've never sat inside... (our only quibble is the giant television screens that dominate), but the expansive outdoor patio area works almost year-round, and it has always been comfortable. Pro-tip: If you're old, like we are, you can get 15% off with an AARP membership, (food only, no alcohol). They have honored it every time. So we tip on the pre-discount total. If you're in Los Feliz, this is a requisite visit.
